Deciding what not to do is just as important as deciding what to do. ~Jessica Jackley

Introduction:

Removing stress is essential to your health. Stress affects everyone, but with fibromyalgia, it makes things way worse.

Why doing too much is making your fibromyalgia worse

Delegating...Use your precious fibro energy for doing what you love, delegate the rest!

Hey Fibro Girl!

Do you want to feel better? Would you love to have less pain and more energy? Removing stress is part of that secret. (Stick with me this year and I’ll be sharing more secrets to help you to thrive with fibromyalgia. Psst… they’re the exact same secrets and things I’ve used to go from exhaustion and pain to thriving!)

Why Delegate?

A great way to remove stress is to DELEGATE.

Now you might be thinking….

🤔If I don’t do it, nothing will get done

🤔No one can do it like I do

🤔It’s more effort to ask for help

I get you AND I’ve been there too! And really, you’re the only one who suffers from those thoughts. They only serve to make you feel worse. Our goal is to help you to Thrive with fibromyalgia.

What to Delegate?

So back to delegating… You don’t want to feel lazy or bossy, but what if you delegated out of total LOVE and Care for yourself?

Now doesn’t that feel so much better?

Here’s some things to consider delegating:

👉Chores

👉Tasks & Errands

👉Anything someone else can do for themselves

👉Hire help or ask friends or family members

👉Any Have-To’s that don’t bring you joy

It might feel hard to ask at first, just do it. Remember, that your loved ones WANT to help you and see you feeling good again. Sometimes they just don’t know how to help. It could be as simple as saying, “Hey, sweeping the floor is really taking a lot of my energy, would you be able to help me with it?”

Ask for Help

Asking for help doesn’t come easy for many of us, but if you want to feel good, it’s time to remove the stress of doing everything yourself. Here’s a link to a self-study course I made for you about sharing your unique fibro needs with your family & friends. Check it out!
