Honouring your unique fibro needs

Sharing your unique fibro needs will actually help you to thrive

Hey Fibro Girl!

How are you doing with honouring (giving space, respecting) your feelings and limitations?

Remember to start slow and give yourself plenty of love and patience when you’re starting something new. Like choosing a better way to relate to fibromyalgia.

CHANGE TAKES TIME

Your Unique Fibro Needs

Have you ever stopped to consider all of your unique fibro needs? I would like to invite you to look at them with love, curiosity and compassion. And NOT with shame, anger or guilt.

Seriously, you do have a lot of unique (some even strange or bizarre) needs with fibromyalgia. They’re all valid and they matter because YOU MATTER! 💞

When you can look at your needs and identify them with love, compassion and curiosity you’ll be more open to finding solutions. You’ll start to feel like you’re more in control of your fibromyalgia (and not the other way around). And guess what?

The more you can honour and take care of your needs, the better you’ll feel

And who doesn’t want that, right??

Recognizing your needs

I used to be the person who was like “I’m fine”, “I’ve got this”, “No, that’s ok” - and boy was it E-X-H-A-U-S-T-I-N-G!!!😣

Until I began to recognize my unique fibromyalgia needs and then started sharing them with others that things began to get easier.

Like this past summer, I went on my first white water rafting trip (so fun BTW but I’ve taken many tiny steps to be able to do that) We started after 10 AM and one of my needs is that I HAVE to eat on time. Well that day we didn’t eat til quite a bit later and I couldn’t bring my own snacks. I was getting weak and dizzy when we finally stopped for a snack. I spoke up about my needs to my mom and my aunt who were with me. Because they had read the Krista Manual, they knew how serious this was. They quickly got me a snack, some water and my own space. After a while, I had enough strength and energy again to continue the trip.

Now imagine how badly that would have turned out if I didn’t honour my needs or speak up about them?

Speaking Up about your needs

You deserve that too. That’s why I created A Fibro Girl’s Operation Manual course for you. So that you can learn how to honour your needs and to speak up for them in a way that feels good for you and your people.

Enroll now, and you’ll have access to the whole course. You can work on your own time to create your own Operation Manual. Well worth it!
