Fibromyalgia got you down? Focus on the Positives

Can positive thoughts actually help fibromyalgia?

Hey Fibro Girl!

Did you know that having a positive outlook, and focusing on the positives can actually start to heal you at a cellular level??🤯

Before you get angry  at me and tell me all the reasons you can’t be positive - let me ask you a question: Is your health and quality of life worth it to you?

Are you positive?

Maybe positive seems so far away from you. Maybe, like I used to be, you’re struggling with depression for years. Joy and happiness seemed to be for other people, but NOT me.

I’ve been on a journey over the past year to put my energy and focus on the positives. I’ve chosen to open myself up to allow joy and happiness into my life. Boy, What a HUGE difference!!!

Focus on the Positives

Instead of focusing on your pain, low energy and the other not so fun stuff with fibromyalgia, try this:

🌻I got out of bed today

🌻I can journal my emotions

🌻I get to hug my pet

🌻I have people who love me (this might be different than you’d expect)

🌻I have food and water

How to be more positive

Your thoughts and voices in your head could be very loud and keeping you stuck in the negative because it’s comfortable and familiar. Try these to boost your mood and start to fill your brain with a positive voice instead.

🦋Journaling

🦋Listening to affirmation meditations (Insight Timer is my favourite app, and it’s free)

🦋Looking for things to be thankful, no matter how small

🦋Talking to yourself with so much love as you would to a child or a friend

It’ll feel weird at first, but keep going. You deserve to Thrive with Fibromyalgia!
