A Green Smoothie a day keeps the bad vibes away.

Introduction:

How's your breakfast? Do you skip it? Does it take too much energy to make it? We've all heard how breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And it is. Plus it's so essential to start your day with the right fuel.

Fibromyalgia & Green Smoothies

This super easy, filling and healthy breakfast will not use up your precious energy. And it'll keep you going. Keep reading to get the recipe.

Hey Fibro Girl!

So, what a month we’ve had! We’ve talked about beginning some new things:

🌻One Tiny Habit

🌻Journaling and how valuable it is

🌻Healing from the yuckiness from our past

🌻Loving  your body for all the awesome things it can do

Why Green Smoothies?

Now one more new beginning: A new breakfast habit of drinking a green smoothie.

🌱Fast & Easy

🌱Tastes Great

🌱Filling Healthy Food

🌱Energy Boost

🌱Good for Fibro

Are you convinced yet? This is one of my favourites:

Green Smoothie:

1 cup water

1 handful spinach (or kale)

1 scoop of Protein powder (Vega Protein & Greens Berry is my fav)

1 stick celery, chopped

½ cucumber, chopped

½ cup fruit or berries of choice**

(Apple, orange, frozen mango, berries…)

  • Add in blender in order listed

  • Blend til smooth

  • Be careful about adding too much fruit as sugar can make fibro worse

  • ** If you’re avoiding fruits, this smoothie still tastes great without them.

Believe it or not, but this smoothie keeps me going for several hours! Smoothies have gotten a bad rap in the past, but this one is so fresh and clean. Give it a try

MMM...Such a great way to start the day.
