Introduction:
Healthy eating is easy with this delicious salad. It takes less than 15 minutes to make and a huge favourite.
Salads often get a bad rap because people think they're boring. Not this one. It's a favourite at potlucks and family dinners.

You’ve renewed your:

And now it’s time for a refreshing, renewing salad. This is one of my family’s favourite and most requested salad for dinner or potlucks.
4 cups kale, thinly sliced
½ cup red onion, chopped fine
1-2 apples, cored and cut into bite sized pieces*
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup dried cranberries
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Dressing:
⅓ cup olive oil
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp maple syrup
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp sea salt or to taste
Put salad into a large bowl (EXCEPT walnuts)
Mix dressing and pour over salad.
Mix well
Cover & refrigerate 1-2 hours
Add walnuts at serving
Eat within 1-2 days
*use pears instead of apples
