The secret lies in planning and pacing

Introduction:

Tiny Steps towards planning your days to thrive with fibromyalgia.

Pacing: Setting up for Fibro Success

Plan your day with these critical questions...

Hey Fibro Girl!

So we’ve been talking about the power of taking tiny steps, starting small and being consistent. This week I’d like to share the HOW of doing this. The secret lies in planning and pacing.

It’s ridiculous and terribly defeating to think you can do or maintain the same level of anything from before fibro days.  Instead let’s plan out what’s important to YOU now. And what’s important to you is probably different than what’s important to me.

Once you’ve identified your priorities it’s time to plan them into your day.

Important Questions:

Remember last week we talked about creating consistency to calm your brain? Well this is where you’re going to plug your priorities into your day.

🌻What time of day is best for you?

🌻When is energy the highest?

🌻Who or what needs to be in place?

🌻Just do it!

🌻Celebrate what you did!!

After the planning process (as simple or elaborate as you’d like - although I do recommend keeping it very simple) - now it’s time to pace.

What is pacing?

Pacing means:

🦋Listening to your body

🦋Working COMFORTABLY within your limitations

🦋 Starting small

🦋Pushing a bit, and scaling back before it becomes too much

Remember that old story of the Tortoise and the Hare?

Slow and steady wins the race

You've Got This, Fibro Girl!

One tiny step, one small start after another consistently done every day is how you’re eventually  going to thrive with fibromyalgia.

Keep going, I’m cheering for you!!
