We are food obsessed. This is our fresh made from scratch addons that compliment the prefect healthy meal. We’ve made a few pairing suggestions below on what we love, but ultimately everyone’s taste buds are their own.
Simply choose any of these great addons to any of your weekly meal, packages.
The best part is all of these foods can be frozen in an air tight container. Feta cheese and Parmesan cheese can be kept in fridge for several months!
Feta: Keep in brine in fridge. Great on salads, mixed into pasta
Brick: Melts best at hot temperatures 15-20 minutes before end of cook time. Can be microwaved
Parmesan: Keep in fridge. Sprinkle on pasta or in salads
Cottage Cheese: Fantastic in lasagna or with berries or on toast
Cashew Cheese: Good on pasta, or pizza
Buns and Bread: Great for all sandwiches and burgers.
Crackers: Keep in air tight container on counter
Wraps: Great for sandwiches, fajitas, burritos and more
Hummus: Great with raw veggies or crackers. Good on sandwiches or salad too
Sour Cream: Great on Mexican dishes, Will keep 1-2 weeks in fridge in a covered container. Good base for dips too
Mayo: spread on sandwiches, or burgers. Will keep 1-2 weeks
Nacho Cheese Sauce: May need to thin with milk of choice. Great on nachos, pizza or mixed with noodles
Spaghetti Sauce: Great with pasta or as a pizza sauce
Pesto: Good for sandwiches, pasta, crackers, roast veggies
Tofu: Good in one-pot meals, on salad, or for snacking
Burgers: Can be grilled or heated in frying pan or oven
Meatballs: Good mixed into pasta or favorite sauce
Taco Meat: Great alternative to ground beef in tacos, chili, or on salad
